Recent years’ developments changed the shape of the Warszawa Gdańska quarter of northern downtown Warsaw. And the major jewel in this crown seems to be the Gdański Business center complex by HB Reavis Poland at 3, Inflancka street.
Rising above the escarpment over the Słonimskiego and Andersa streets, it cuts into the sky with a glassy, shining thorn. But its uniqueness in my view gets somehow hidden, until you experience it in the very early morning sunshine. When touched by the sparks of early sun, rising just over the Vistula river, it returns it with a shining reflections…. Couldn’t resist the analogy of ancient Sumerian temples and altars just waiting there to greet new life of a rising sun.
