Recent several opportunities to have early-morning downtown walks – mostly through the Śródmieście and Wola boroughs – led me to the stage of overwhelming… The contrast between emptiness of streets and totally deserted neighborhoods so sharply emphasized the intensity of the commercial real estate development boom we have been experiencing in recent months and years.
From the perspective – the city seems literally crowded with the cranes over construction sites. Striking sign of how booming the industry is, in Warsaw at least.
And the recent COVID-related economic slowdown and furthermore – uncertainty how it will roll-out provokes the question, whether the boom will keep booming?…
